Pittsburgh, PA. – February 13, 2007 - The Edge 2000 Premium Buffing System now includes convoluted-faced buffing pads. These new Edge 2000 Wave pads resist "hopping" that may occur when flat-surface pads dry out. The also allows air to circulate, cooling the surface.
The new Edge 8" 2000 Wave pads will also reduce splattering of chemicals and fluids. Top quality reticulated polyester foam outlasts competing pads. The famous Edge bevel design allows you to reach tight areas with a high-speed buffer.
These are the only convoluted pads with the Edge 2000 double-sided format. Work with less binding, crouching, etc... and there's no backing plate to damage the car.
The Edge 2000 adapter enables you to snap pads on and off instantly and center them perfectly every time. The adapter comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Just flip these pads over when the opposite side wears down. This saves money by not having to purchase single sided pads.
YELLOW Heavy Cut: This is the most aggressive of the Wave pads. It will cut through deep surface marks and swirls (micro scratches). It works fast while reducing the risk of burning. Can be used to remove heavy oxidation and removes wet sand scratches. Use this pad with our Vibra Cut II, Vibra Cut Lite, or Spyder Web Glaze. 40 pores per inch (ppi)
GREEN Medium Cut/Polish: This pad is your everyday cutting pad for average cars with light oxidation and moderate swirls (micro scratches). This pad will yield amazing results on vehicles that are a few years old or older. Use this pad with our Foam Pad Glaze II, One Step Prep, and even Vibra Cut Lite. 50 pores per inch (ppi)
BLUE Soft Polish: This is our most versatile pad and is great for regular use. Great to use on cars that come back for regular cosmetic touch-ups. This pad will leave surface areas scratch-free and smooth while removing light swirls (micro scratches) and imperfections. Use with our One Step Prep II or Quik & Easy Glaze. 70 pores per insch (ppi)
WHITE Ultrafine Polish: Ultra smooth surface, finer than any pad on the market. Creates a bold, crystalline gloss. Use on new, exotic or professionally restored cars. You can use this pad at a slower speed to apply Our Cherry Wax or STS 3000 Polymer Sealant.
